La Rosière is a ski resort situated on the Little St Bernard pass,
and connected to the Italian resort of La Thuile, offering a total of
150 km of pistes and extensive off-piste and ski touring opportunities.
Its altitude, at 1850m, and proximity to Mont Blanc means that snow conditions
are generally excellent throughout the winter season and its southerly
aspect makes La Rosière a very sunny resort. The is also an active
summer season offering a range of mountain activities including walking,
mountain biking, white water rafting, climbing, buggy driving, golf, horse
riding, tennis and archery. La Rosière's location also makes it
an ideal centre for touring around the Savoie region and into Italy through
the Aosta Valley.
Ciderniks is a small
scale cider producer, based in West Berkshire, making a range of ciders
and perries. Wherever possible, apples and pears are sourced locally.
Our ciders and perries have nothing added to the juice apart from a special
yeast to ensure a consistent fermentation and are allowed to ferment down
naturally. This leads to clean and dry tasting drinks that are available
at some local outlets as well as at various other events which have included
The Newbury Real Ale Festival, Shalfest, the Salisbury Food Fair and the
Reading Beer and Cider Festival.
